The European Association for Population Studies (EAPS) invites submissions to the European Population Conference 2024 which will be held from 12-15 June 2024. EPC 2024 is organized by EAPS in collaboration with the University of St Andrews (United Kingdom) and will convene in Edinburgh. EPC 2024 will be an in-person conference.
Submission Guidelines
EPC 2024 is a general population conference with a special focus on the topic of Sustainable Populations; submissions relating to this topic are especially welcome. Submissions should be made to one of the conference themes (see below*), which will be developed into a series of sessions by the Conveners.
The organisers wish to enable as many colleagues as possible to present their best work at EPC 2024; for that reason, only 1 submission as presenting author is allowed (you may co-author other papers or posters) and only 1 appearance as presenting author of a paper or a poster is allowed.
Each submission must include a short Abstract (250 words) and an extended Abstract (2-4 pages describing topic, theoretical focus, data, methods and -expected- findings). A full paper is optional. Authors will be informed about acceptance of their submission by 1 February 2024.
To help cover the costs of participation EAPS will provide a limited number of travel grants to students. The grant is Euro 500 and includes the waiving of the EPC registration fee. For the criteria see: https://eaps.nl/epc/european-
